Broadview Networks is launching its Cloud Computing Services nationwide. Its services is a suite of fully managed enterprise-grade business software and infrastructure applications hosted in the cloud and is tailored for small and medium-sized businesses.
According to Brian Crotty, COO at Broadview Networks, their "cloud services will enable secure access to applications, solid disaster recovery capabilities and vastly improved economics." He also believes that "by moving communications, software and infrastructure services to a cloud environment," SMBs can focus on running the business without having to make additional investments in such things as IT and technical staff.

Broadview's cloud-based services target the growing opportunity for Software as a Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Both SaaS and IaaS allow companies to move software, applications, storage and server hardware that support critical business operations off-site, which can improve the availability, security and compliance of their data and applications while reducing their total cost of ownership. In addition, SaaS and IaaS allow customers to focus their efforts on their own mission-critical business needs instead of dealing with software and hardware upgrades and maintenance.
