NETWAYS and C12G Announce First Speakers of the OpenNebulaConf 2014

Second OpenNebulaConf will take place in Berlin from December 2nd to 4th

From December 2nd to 4th the second OpenNebula Conf takes place in Berlin again. The host already confirms the first speakers, who will join the event that is aligned in cooperation with C12G. Until July 15th it will be possible to get discounted Early Bird Tickets

After last years successful debut with participants from 12 countries, NETWAYS, the open source specialist based in Nuremberg, hosts the Event again in Berlin. From December 02nd to 04th experts will talk again about the popular Cloud Application, at the Conference launched in cooperation with the OpenNebula Developer C12G. Amongst the first confirmed speakers are Armin Deliomini from Runtastic and Stefan Kooman, who will report in his presentation "ONE BIT to rule them all“ from his experiences with the OpenNebula Setup at his company BIT.nl. Alberto Zuin (Moyd.co LTD) will join with the talk “Geo distributed datacenter: the DNS way”.

Until July 15th it will be possible to get the discounted Early Bird Tickets. You can choose between the packages GOLD (including accommodation) and SILVER (excluding accommodation). Both packages come with the participation to a tutorial or hacking workshop at the first day of the conference.

The only Conference about OpenNebula worldwide is the result of a constant demand for an effective Cloud Solution. Since the beginning of the research project in 2005, OpenNebula has become a popular open source solution for data center virtualization. Based on XEN, KVM and VMWare, the cloud platform differs from others by supporting a variety of independent standards. Its focus on interoperability allows a simple integration and high flexibility.

The NETWAYS Event Services GmbH, an organizer with many years of experience, is in charge of the organizational success of this open source event. Alongside the European trend-setting Open Source Monitoring Conference and Open Source Datacenter Conference, many other conferences, a wide range of training programs and trade fair exhibitions compose the service portfolio of the subsidiary company of NETWAYS GmbH.
