New All-in-one Business Suite with Fully Integrated Sales, Marketing, and CRM Suite

Track customers from start to finish - from prospect marketing, sales, to service teams

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. Please tell us, what is Agile CRM all about / what do you do?

Manohar Chapalamadugu, Founder and CEO or Agile CRM: Agile CRM is the world’s first fully integrated sales, marketing, and service suite for growing businesses delivered as a cloud-based Software as a Service. The solution was designed to address the challenge of centralizing essential customer data. Agile CRM enables the critical data you need to be readily accessible to all professionals across sales, marketing, and service departments.

What’s the benefit of combining different services?

Chapalamadugu: In today’s world, businesses cannot survive — let alone thrive — if they don’t track their customer journey from start to finish. A major problem, however, is that marketing, sales, and service teams have traditionally operated individually. Thus, companies find themselves juggling multiple versions of customer data across a disparate array of solutions and departments wherein it could be prone to errors or even data leaks. Agile CRM creates a single version of this data across the entire business, enabling organizations to truly maximize the value of their marketing, sales, and support efforts in a cumulative way.

Please explain the gamification aspect of your CRM product?

Chapalamadugu: Gamification in Agile CRM is an intra-departmental feature that encourages and motivates team members to perform at their best. Our gamification features compare team members alongside each other and showcases individual rep performance, deals won, calls made, revenue generated and more. One can see who is leading the pack in real time through customizable leaderboards.

Do you think gamification will grow of importance in business software and why?

Chapalamadugu: The end goal of every business is to enhance profitability and that is achieved by encouraging the best performance from one’s sales team. Any sales team finds motivation in incentives and performance recognition and we find gamification does just that.

Who is your target audience and how do you intend to reach them?

Chapalamadugu: We target diverse small to medium-size businesses with marketing, sales and service departments who need to centralize their data.

What problems do you solve for them?

Chapalamadugu: In today's environment, every business has to manage their customers’ journey all the way from top of the funnel, till the customer becomes a reference. Agile CRM provides one integrated platform for our customers to manage every aspect of the sales funnel from lead generation, qualification and nurturing to closure and support. With Agile CRM, everyone in the organization is empowered to access and leverage the same real-time customer data from a single, centralized database. On top of that, we make it very easy to run sophisticated marketing and sales automation programs with just a few clicks. We provide SMB’s with out-of-the-box integrations with over 40 third party applications such as SalesForce, RingCentral and Microsoft, making it easy to integrate with your existing investments and programs.

Who are your competitors?

Chapalamadugu: Since we offer an integrated sales, marketing and support software, we have a wide variety of competitors. Salesforce is the only other software that offers an integrated platform, however they focus on the enterprise market. We compete with CRMs like Zoho CRM, Prosperworks, Pipedrive and Insightly and in marketing automation, we compete against Infusionsoft and Hubspot.

How do you differentiate from your competitors?

Chapalamadugu: There are three things that differentiate us from our competitors: 1) We are the only software solution offering integrated sales, marketing and support offerings. 2) We offer users over 40 out-of-the-box integration with third party products including G-Suite, Office 365, and RingCentral. 3) We offer the lowest total cost of ownership in the market.

What is the viral aspect of your product?

Chapalamadugu: Marketing automation, we feel, is the most viral aspect of Agile CRM. This is because of the options it offers in the form of customizations and plugins it comes with. The reporting is also quite detailed making it one of the most successful drivers of the entire product. The virality of marketing automation stems from its customizability when used to its fullest potential, and yield the best results for a customer.

How do you make money?

Chapalamadugu: We base our solution off of a subscription plan which not only addresses the customer’s business needs but also gives him a pay-as-you-go option to upgrade. The pricing is affordable for any small business and we help drive the business with a 24X5 all-in-one support. We understand that there are many small businesses out there that cannot afford 4 figure subscriptions and we are filling the gap through a lower subscription rate that will grow only when the business does.

Who founded the company, when and why?

Chapalamadugu: Agile was born from a real, heartfelt need. While working on Clickdesk, our team experimented with a number of the top CRM solutions on the market and none of them catered to our needs. It was finally decided that the CRM capabilities required would be built right into the platform. I wanted an easy-to-use, affordable and simple marketing automation system, but found that none existed. Thus, Agile CRM was born to fill in the integration gaps, and knock down the silos between marketing, sales and support. Three years later, Agile is empowering small and growing businesses to supercharge their sales, marketing, and service efforts on a single, unified platform.

Are you targeting a first VC round? If yes, when and what will you use the funds for? How much money is being sought?

Chapalamadugu: No, we are not targeting any VC rounds as of now.
